the moutains of the moon
fiction
edward w pritchard
the mountains of the moon are far off
hard to get to and treacherous when you find them
the rocks are sharp and the valleys are deep
jump and you fly a long way
darkness surrounds you
and small meteors shred your body
watch the stars and dark matter
as the air hisses from your cherished recollections
