Donald Trump, too much of nothing

Donald Trump, too much of nothing

Most of us have long since come to grip with our lack of abundance. Mediocre on the basketball court, average grades in school, girlfriend too plump after a brief period of youthful beauty. It doesn't take most Americans long to learn the crazy walk of kow-towing backward in our relationship with money and wealth as we exit slowly backwards at the ends of our lives. We sink unseen solidly into our mediocrity.

What if you were THE Donald and the good Lord was about to bless you beyond your craziest dreams and make you the President of the most powerful empire in History. It could be an unsettling and humbling experience. Ask President Obama; maybe Presidental hopeful Trump should talk to President Obama about what it's going to be like to be in charge and responsible.

Perhaps there is a grand purpose to things after all and at this point and place in History Donald Trump is being chosen to be our next President. He cannot refuse the Honor and no one can change what is soon to be manifest. The man who made making piles and heaps of money look so easy to the rest of us is about to inherit the insurmountable responsibility of no longer just being  able to complain and fuss about the mess the Country is in but instead of becoming the one person charged with spending the next four years being responsible for untangling the ten million broken institutions that are our National Government.

No matter how high one goes he sit-ith on his Ass. You can't make this stuff up. Our Country is about to get a new Caesar.  The cosmic slot machine is spinning and if the wheels of fate line up properly there will be one less very successful bargainer on Main street and a new nervous worry-er living in the big white house on Pennsylvania Avenue.

Pray for our leaders. Politics is important stuff no matter how easy and glamorous the job looks in the movies. As for the rest of us? Be content with the role the Lord has assigned to you, no matter how humble it may be. Be fearful less you get everything you ever dreamed of and then some.

All that glitters is not Gold.
