Although it's a fad now to have your DNA investigated it's not a good idea.

Your DNA and genes should be private.Your DNA is like a heavy bucket of fish innards sloshing around and spilling on the ground as strangers struggle to carry your eternal essence up the hill from the creek to Grandmother Pollyfeather's two hundred year old farm kitchen with the bright south facing windows flooded with sunlight. The bucket edge is sharp and rusted and those carrying it drip blood from their torn hands that mingles with the fish innards and jostles the memories of Grandmother Pollyfeathers as a beautiful young girl about to be courted by grandpa Sailor. Reaching for the bucket flaking dried red paint maliciously tears grandpa Sailors hands causing brain damage a half century later.

After the bucket sits on the counter of grandma's very clean kitchen in time Grandma dips both her withered hands into the contagion of slop as she fishes for the choicest parts of fish privates to concoct her special bouillabaisse as she is part French you know. Up coming Sunday dinner will be the best ever and all the relatives will remember the meal for a long long time.

If that isn't reason enough to not have your DNA tested and archived it is likely the government will secretly monitor and save a part of you for future nefarious uses. Don't have your DNA weighted sorted or filed for study.
