Advertising is communication to persuade and create action. The name of the product or service and features and benefits are used to persuade and create action.

Ty was walking carefully along the ledges. A narrow ledge 9 inches wide often curved away from his line of sight. The shelf above his head often jumped down at him as he walked and he had to quickly duck to keep from hitting his head. As he traversed past the carved rooms families carried on the every day duties of their lives in the small cut out enclosures in the cliff side. Ty pressed on for he was going to see his love Mai [may].

The view toward the west was beautiful as was Mai. Far below the sounds of the River was tranquil as was Mai. Children sang in the rooms and someday he and Mai would sit there and listen to their children sing. Smells of fine cooking wafted throughout the cliff dwellings. Someday soon he would carve out an enclosure and him and Mai would raise their family here, above the river, under the blue sky and live their lives together.

As Ty walked carefully going to see Mai he looked at the drawing on the side of the wall above the narrow ledge leading to Mai's families dwelling. It was a picture of a chisel and a hammer from Ov the tool maker advertising his products. He made fine tools and Ty would need some soon for he was going to ask Mai to join him and he would need to carve out a fine room for them and their family after she said yes. Ty was going to see Mai.
